Do I need healthcare experience to enroll?
No prior healthcare experience is required. Our programs are designed for beginners, whether you are new to the field or looking to build foundational knowledge.
Does Alberta College of Qualified Professionals guarantee employment?
No. While Alberta College of Qualified Professionals (ACQP) offers career guidance and job search support, employment is not guaranteed.
Are programs offered online or in person?
Currently, all programs are offered 100% online, allowing students to learn flexibly from anywhere.
Can international students apply?
Eligibility for international students depends on the program structure and applicable regulatory requirements. Please contact our admissions team for detailed information.
How do I apply?
You can apply directly through our website. Once your application is submitted, our admissions team will contact you to guide you through the next steps.
Can I receive a refund if I withdraw before the program starts?
Yes. Students who withdraw at least one week before the program start date may be eligible for a refund of tuition paid, minus any applicable administrative or non-refundable fees, as outlined in the student contract.
What happens if I withdraw after the program has started?
If a student withdraws after the program has begun, tuition refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis, depending on the portion of the program already delivered. Administrative fees and completed instructional components may be non-refundable.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Approved refunds are typically processed within 30 days, in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.
Are the short term certificate programs are approved by Alberta Advanced Education?
ACQP short term certificate programs have been formally reviewed by Alberta Advanced Education and confirmed as exempt from licensing under the Private Vocational Training Act. Our courses are structured, compliant, and designed to deliver focused, industry-relevant skills at an accessible cost. These programs are designed for skills development and professional upskilling.
