Do I need healthcare experience to enroll?

No prior healthcare experience is required. Our programs are designed for beginners, whether you are new to the field or looking to build foundational knowledge.

No. While Alberta College of Qualified Professionals (ACQP) offers career guidance and job search support, employment is not guaranteed.

Currently, all programs are offered 100% online, allowing students to learn flexibly from anywhere.

Yes. Students who withdraw at least one week before the program start date may be eligible for a refund of tuition paid, minus any applicable administrative or non-refundable fees, as outlined in the student contract.

If a student withdraws after the program has begun, tuition refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis, depending on the portion of the program already delivered. Administrative fees and completed instructional components may be non-refundable.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 30 days, in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.

ACQP short term certificate programs have been formally reviewed by Alberta Advanced Education and confirmed as exempt from licensing under the Private Vocational Training Act. Our courses are structured, compliant, and designed to deliver focused, industry-relevant skills at an accessible cost. These programs are designed for skills development and professional upskilling.
